OUR JUNIOR PROGRAMME
We will help your child learn how to play tennis in a fun and safe environment. But that’s not all. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Our sessions are designed to keep kids motivated and engaged, while teaching them a range of technical and physical skills and helping them build their confidence through competitive and cooperative games.
Providing just the right level of challenge and fun is key to keeping a child motivated and keen on playing and progressing. That’s why all sessions in our programme are split by age and level of ability. Your child will always be able to find the right session for them.
All our coaches are LTA qualified and accredited. Meaning that they are DBS checked, Safeguarding and First Aid trained and have accumulated thousands of hours of on-court coaching experience. All sessions your child attends will be of the highest standard.
All our sessions follow a predefined curriculum which is age and ability specific. It also includes clearly defined learning objectives and regular progress assessment. Think of it as a fun game that will keep your child motivated and engaged. The more they progress in the game, the better they’ll get at playing tennis and the more motivated they’ll be to keep doing it. Take that videogames!
Teaching a kid to play a sport is more than just teaching a kid to play a sport. It’s about helping them develop the physical, emotional and social skills that will enable them to thrive on and off court for the rest of their life. That’s why all our sessions have a focus on cooperative and competitive components, as well as on the technical and physical aspects of tennis.
Everyone at Tennis 21 starts on our 30-day trial. This enables your child to try the sport and our sessions, without you having to be tied down to a long term contract or an expensive course. All we ask for is £1.
If your child is just getting started and doesn’t have a tennis racquet yet, don’t worry. We’ll provide all necessary equipment for the sessions, including rackets. And if your child decides to keep playing tennis, we’ll also be able to recommend the right size racket for them.
We don’t believe in long term contracts. We want members to stay with us because they love our sessions, not because we’ve tied them to a contract. If you decide to join us, you’ll be able to cancel your membership at any point. We’ll be sorry to see you go, though!
